Monkey's First Major Spill

Poor Monkey. He had his first major spill today. Luckily it didn't involve any broken bones (that we know of), but he looks pretty rough. Of course we give in to his wants and needs when he is feeling so rough (ice cream for dinner, paci during non-rest times). However, I see a small smirk behind his paci...he wouldn't take us for all we're worth, would that sweet face do that?!

Ryan had him at the SJU bball game. They always go into the track area because there are these (CONCRETE) steps that Teague loves to walk up and down on. Unfortunately since Teague is so big now, he refuses to take the stairs crawling (only babies do that!). Well on his way down Ryan said he stepped on his pants and tripped - face first down the steps on his precious, adorable face. Ouch. I am glad I wasn't with, it probably would have made me so sick to my stomach that I would have vomitted. Oye.

Happy Early V-Day.

Well it seems like just last week I wrote a post about Teague being 18 months and half way to 3. Tomorrow he is 19 months. Crazy. I should keep track of all his new words, but he says so many new ones everyday I could never keep up. So you will just need to take my word for it that he is so smart! =) His 19 month pic is off to the right.

Here are a couple of other pics. We hope everyone has a loveable day tomorrow!!
Mommy and Teague snuggling when we were sick.

Ryan and the other coaches dressed up for the "Coaches vs. Cancer" game last week. The point was to wear tennis shoes and they spiced it up by wearing their black suits, black shirts and pink cancer ribbon ties. What a handsome group!

Ryan's Newest BBall Milestone

Yes, in our house someone other than Teague reaches milestones. Ryan tends to reach them now and then with bball. Last week it was a milestone of 100 wins under the age of 30. This week he received his first technical foul. Good job babe. Teague and I are so proud of you! =)

Teague and I are STILL suffering through cold season. I don't know if this means that I should be opening up all the windows in the house to air it out or what (probably the germ mongrals from daycare), but I tell you what - I am pretty sick of my sinuses draining, my head pounding, etc. And I can only imagine that Teague feels similar to me.

Teague has been so good even after a week and a half of being back in "cell block C". I think it was a phase that has passed. He is constantly repeating all the words we say, and some are clear as day while others only a mother could understand!! But it's great. I love listening to him babble and talk.

I am so excited! I actually GET to spend Valentine's Day with my hubby this year! Every other year it interferes with bball. WOO HOO! So we are having a nice dinner out alone! It's also Teague's 19 month bday. Where is the time going???

Have a great rest of the week.

Woo Hoo! Good Job Ryan!

Shout out to my dearest hubby. He achieved 100 varsity basketball wins (well his teams have I guess), but 100 wins as a coach under 30 is phenomenal. Teague and I are so proud of you, babe!
