Because I use this as my kids' baby books, this post may seem boring to you....but important to me (and someday hopefully it will be meaningful to Teague as well). Here is how much Teague has grown during his first 4 years of life. I don't need to write where he is percentage wise because every appointment he has been off of the charts growth wise. It was so funny, when we went for Teague's 4 year well child check, Teague asked Dr. Heller, "Am I tall enough to go to preschool?" and Dr. Heller laughed and said "Ha, PRESCHOOL?? You're tall enough to start 6th grade!" He is definitely getting these "tall genes" from either my dad's side of the family or from his dad...possibly a combination of both?!
Birth: 10 lbs, .6 oz; 23" tall
2 months: 15 lbs, 7 oz; 25" tall
4 months: 18 lbs, 1 oz; 28" tall
6 months: 20 lbs, 6 oz; 28 1/2" tall
1 year: 26 lbs, 8 oz; 33" tall
15 months: 29 lbs, 10 oz; 34" tall
18 months: 31 lbs; 34 3/4" tall
2 years: 38 lbs; 39" tall
3 years: 41 lbs; 42" tall
4 years: 47 lbs; 44 1/2" tall

And One More Makes 4 Parties!
Yes it's true, Teague had 4 parties (and not just because he turned 4)! He celebrated turning 4 over the course of 11 days! First party was at daycare, then with the Dusha's at WI Dells, zoo on his birthday and FINALLY a party with the Mohr's on Saturday. What a lucky little boy! We are lucky to have bim, but he's also lucky to have so many people who love him!
"Cheese!" - George of the Jungle birthday theme...I'm surprised he didn't insist on only wearing underwear to his party!
Riding his Buzz Lightyear bike from Nana and Papa!
Even after lots of good food we still had a bonfire that evening, just because the birthday boy wanted s'mores. Anything for him on his last birthday party until next July!

Happy Birthday to Monkey!
It was raining and pouring on July 14th - Teague's 4th birthday, but we kept good on our promise to go on his annual birthday trip to the zoo (with a pit stop at the dentist, Perkins, and afterwards Chuck E. Cheese). It literally poured until about Bloomington and then the rain just stopped and was cloudy, but no rain while we were at the zoo. It was such a great day for a great little boy. I get so nostalgic about his (and Lola's) birthdays, I feel like I can remember details about the days leading up to, the moments of and the days after his birth. I love him so much for making me a mommy and for putting a smile on my face everyday with his awesome sense of humor, good nature, silly games and faces he makes, and for literally lighting up my life on a daily basis. He has been a total joy to my world!
It is so true that your kids' birthdays mark how fast time really goes. Ryan and I had been married 3 years by the time Teague was born. We were just talking about how "slow" those years were in comparison to these past 4 years. And I don't mean that in a bad way as they were very fun filled years, but having kids has just made time fly faster, it's strange.
Opening his Mobi Go the morning he turned 4!
Enjoying pancakes at Perkins before going to the zoo!

Prairie Pioneer Day Fun!
Even after the 4 hour drive to and then from the WI Dells, I packed up the kids for a drive to Morris for the weekend while Ryan and his boys sweated their you know what's off during a basketball tournament at SCSU. While it was seriously sooooo hot and humid, the kids had a great time!
Getting brave and jumping off of nana and papa's pool slide ladder
Riding the kid train at the park
Riding with cousin Sky
Teague posing with a bearded dragon at the wetlands office
The kids making their silliest faces while waiting for the fireworks to start
The cutest firefighter at the parade
She must be my daughter, loves diet coke!

Trip to the Dells
Well we took a chance and decided to journey 4 hours east to the WI Dells for 3 days of water filled fun with the entire Dusha family. We had a great time eating, swimming, and also we celebrated ONE of Teague's 4th bday parties! Teague got a lot of nice presents, Lola was an angel in the car (who knew???!!!), Teague braved a few of the big slides, Lola loved the zero depth entry pools and smaller waterslides, and Lola caught swimmer's ear (which explained her horrible last night of sleep there). Overall it was a great time (besides the painful ear of course)!

This is how Teague "poses"

Lola showing of her cute belly!

Teague showing off his amazing muscles!

Lola showing you what you look like before you contract swimmer's ear

Good thing we brought the stroller, right?!

"Cheese!"

Table of 4

Too funny, this is what Lola thinks of Grandpa trying to play cards w/ her!
