Well that's annoying...

So I spent the better part of about 2 hour yesterday updating the blog with pictures (and therefore a pictorial narration of the goings on in our lives) from the past 3 weeks. I went to our blog today to show someone a picture and guess what, NOTHING IS THERE from yesterday! Apparently from my research, blogger was down off and on for the day, so any postings made in the last 30 hours ARE GONE. ARE.YOU.KIDDING.ME?! Seriously, that's a major glitch that doesn't make this mama one bit happy. So I am going to upload some pictures now and hope that I can remember what I wrote... (and talk about the pain in the behind to copy and paste all the HTML codes so the pictures were in the correct order....AAAAHHHH)!

In other exciting news, I took a voluntary cut at work knowing they would need to make cuts and I wanted part time work.  I will be working 4 days a week, which of course is causing drama among co-workers in the workplace (what else is new), but it was either this or needing to move on; so I am glad there was a compromise to the situation that will hopefully improve my outlook on things now!

Teague with his "best buddy Chase" (as he refers to him)!

The kids with Ryan (and his $30 Spiderman cake that Teague insisted on) - for his birthday

My cute kids after their Easter Egg Hunt at Nana and Papa's

Teague trying to be helpful and "push" Lola on the swing, it didn't go so well as he doesn't know enough to get out of the way on her back swing!

Playing "horsey" with Daddy!

Another fun game at our house - go into the garage without clothes on, grab your winter coat and boots and run around.  It's super exciting you know!

Snuggling with my "BFF" as Ryan refers to our relationship as of late...

This is an average grocery shopping trip with Lola, she takes her time and we listen.  Here she is stacking cans at Walmart.

We went to the 35th annual Easter Egg hunt put on my the radio station, KCLD.  WHAT A JOKE.  You should have seen all the smoking and heard the swearing - you might have thought you were in a good ol' Stearns County bar instead of a family friendly egg hunt...oh and the KCLD pop music blaring in the background?!  Oye, I guess only the classiest of all people attend these events...maybe well try Rockville's next year!  Here is Teague feeling a bit overwhelmed by the kids running, yelling and hollering while gathering eggs - he didn't like it and I was trying to coax him into grabbing a few eggs (knowing how mad he would be later about not having any)!

Here's Lola waiting her turn for her age group to start at the egg hunt...

I was surprised, she totally knew what to do and just went to town grabbing eggs!  I had to pull her away because I thought she would take them all!

I love this picture - the kids are waiting for the Easter bunny and Teague was a little uncertain about that creepy looking bunny so he's holding Lola's hand (trying to protect her) and looking over his shoulder....as you can tell Lola wasn't as unsure, she didn't have a clue!

Wow, no tears!!  Still creepy though...

Another sweet moment with my "BFF" - I love that she loves mommy so much these days.  I will go to get her out of her crib in the morning and she will throw both hands in the air and cheer "MOMMY!!"

Mother's Day 2011: out of 10 pictures this is the best one.  No kidding.

Nana with her grandkids on Mother's Day

The "Mohr" girls on Mother's Day

Naked Cowboy!

Swinging at the park - like Teague's old man shoes with socks?!  =)

After about 5 pictures I said "Smile and show your teeth" and this is what you get. Love my monkey.

Beautiful girl.  Love her.

So so BUSY!

How cute is that little naked cowboy butt?!
Snuggling my "BFF" as Ryan refers to Lola and my relationship as of late!
A sweet moment between Mother and Daughter - she absolutely adores mommy these days (as do I with her)!  It's so endearing!
Lola was so busy at the grocery store stacking cans (and no, it's nearly impossible to keep her in the cart so we shop at Lola speed....makes for an interesting shopping excursion)!
Mother's Day 2011: Out of about 10 pictures, this is the absolute best one...go figure.
The "Mohr" girls on Mother's Day
Nana and the grandkids on Mother's Day

Let's get this straight - this is nobody that I know.  I stole the picture off of the KCLD web site of pictures they took from the 35th annual Easter egg hunt.  I had the GRAND idea that we should take the kids to this Easter egg hunt at Riverside Park in St Cloud.  Oh good Lord, apparently only the classiest people show up for these events.  I have never been around more swearing and smoking in my life....and here's a picture of a grandfather holding his toddler granddaughter with none other than a cigarette hanging out of his hand.  CLAAAASSSY!  Oh, and KCLD pop music blaring in the background?!  Not really my idea of a family friendly Easter event!  Next year we'll try the Rockville hunt...
Teague didn't like all the kids running and hollering about the eggs, so here I am trying to coax him into getting some....
Lola's waiting her turn for the egg hunt to start!
Lola's pretty good at that egg hunting thing!
Here the kids are waiting to see the Easter bunny before the egg hunt.  I think this is so funny because Teague is ever so cautiously looking over his shoulder at that creepy looking bunny and Lola has no idea but to be happy!
Surprisingly, no tears!
I guess this is the face you make when your mom tells you to smile and show your teeth?!
Sweet little girl swinging at the park...
Swinging at the park (notice Teague's old man shoes with socks?!)
Teague with his arm around "my best buddy Chase"!
Ryan with his special birthday cake.  Teague insisted that Ryan would want a DQ ice cream cake (I have no idea where he got that idea because we've never had one); so when we got to the DQ to order it, naturally Daddy would want the $30 Spiderman cake, right?!  I mean who am I to say no to that?!
Ryan being a "horsey" - another fun game!
This is the "fun" thing to do lately - go out in the garage, carrying our winter coat and boots and run around naked.  It happened one night while I was putting stuff away and now it's apparently the best thing ever!
Here are my cuties after the Easter Egg hunt!
Teague giving Lola a little push on the swing (he wasn't actually that helpful as he didn't get out of the way on her back swing)
Lola even got it!!
Teague loved Eater egg hunting...

The last bit of actual news is that I voluntarily took a cut at work to be placed at 80% time.  I will be working 4 days a week next year.  I took a pay cut (and other departments at work didn't have to have that amount cut from their department) so that I could spend more quality time with my kids.  My kids are growing fast and this seemed like the best happy medium for me as many of you know I was contemplating whether to stay or to move on.  Hopefully this works well for all and things will start to look up!
