Pictures of March

Snacktime is a favorite time!

The weather's been so nice the Easter bunny came early!

What else do you do while mommy and daddy are putting the new trampoline together....play in the box w/ a life jacket!

We didn't have the netting up but still let them carefully take it for a test drive. I think it's a hit!

We had picnics in the park.

We take self portraits in the car on mommy's phone.

We read (kid friendly) books half naked.

We color.

Finally, we're excited to use our wristbands at Nickelodeon Universe at the MOA!

Kids Say the Darndest Things!

I am not always very good at remembering to write down all of the cute things my kids say, but I know those are such fun things to look back on and laugh (like yesterday at Pastor Paul's house for lunch when Teague had to share his favorite America's Funniest Home Video segment when the little girl "kept farting in the bath tub! It was soooo funny. She tooted like 5 times!"). Anyway, lately T and I have been having talks about what is the truth and what is a lie. So T likes to "workout" with me, so he grabs his 3 pound weights while I workout. Our convo went like this:
Me: Wow, you're going to get strong like mommy!
T: No, I'm stronger than you.
Me: Oh, you're going to be strong like daddy someday then.
T: I'm stronger than daddy. I'm stronger than everyone!
Me: Whoa! Even God? You can't be stronger than God! God's the strongest of everyone!
T: (hands on hips) Well God's lying then.

2 Years

Wow, two years already. Yes, that's right, my dad was 2 years post cancer surgery last Saturday. The kids and I were there with him on Saturday and I forgot to tell him that I'm proud of him for the strength, determination, and perseverance he's had to get through these years. They've not always been easy, but also how wonderful to have been given the opportunity for a new life! Let's celebrate!
