A 4 x 4 square has an area equal to its perimeter.
If you multiply the number 21978 by 4, it turns backwards!
The two equalities 4 x 1738 = 6952 and 4 x 1963 = 7852, use the digits 1-9 exactly once!
The digit 4 on an LCD calculator is made up of 4 bars.

Okay, if you still didn't get it and you are still reading....
I am four months along...
Stay tuned to your email. Soon our address, dusha-trio.blogspot.com, will be vacant and a new and more secure Dusha Blog will be on it's way. We are no longer a Trio, so we must change our blog address and our name!

Jazz Hands
My life is consumed with being a mom. It's the best thing in the world to be consumed with, except when you realize that it might be causing a slight problem with your job.
Yesterday I was testing some of my Junior students to see if they qualified to take college level courses. It was one of those tests that you needed to be quiet, even when you were done with the test. I told the students as they finished they could quietly get up and just leave. I was surprised when one young man raised his hand towards what should have been the end of the test. I looked at him somewhat confused and in sign language asked him if he was "all done". You should have seen the look on his face as he wondered what the heck I was doing with my hands! I was so embarrassed. I played it off like it was no big deal but he must have realized that I really am crazy.
Oh my life as a mom...

20 Months!
Wow. I have a 20 month old! Time has flew, yet it does seem like forever that he was just an infant and giving me heck in the middle of the night!
Teague repeats just about every word we say. He puts a couple of words together, but still signs a lot of his needs. He is now finally saying PLEASE instead of just signing it. Tonight we said "always", and he said "always" just clear as day. However when we said "did you burp?" he said "Burk?" So some better than others!
I literally have spring fever now. I am just so excited for this warm weather and crossing my fingers that it stays for good! We spent some time outside this weekend, but Teague definitely still prefers the storage garage over everything else! Papa came over today with his rain boots, so Teague and Papa explored the yard in their rain boots and splashing in puddles. Thank goodness for Papa's to do that dirty work!!
Teague continues to get braver and braver in the water. He loves to be in the bath with the water running so he can stick his face under the faucet and put the shower on. Tonight I put him in the whirlpool tub and he really enjoyed that. I used to bathe with him in there a lot when he was an infant. Here are some pics of him in there:
Ryan's team made it to the semi finals of the sub-section. He couldn't ask for anything more. Like mentioned in previous posts, it has been an interesting season with some interesting players. Whew, I don't know how he does it most days. Sometimes I really wonder if he is coaching girls or boys. Oh well, he always sees the positive side of it all, so who am I to say?! The positive side of the season ending is that spring is on its way and we get to see more of Ryan.
But the most important thing to us with the season being over is that we leave in less than 3 weeks for Mexico! WOO HOO! Some people have asked if we are bringing Teague with us on vacation. Well I would not call bringing a 20 month old to Mexico a vacation, but rather a trip. So as much as I am excited for Ryan and I to get away, I am equally anxious and sad about being away from Teague for 9 nights. I spend more time trying NOT to think about the vacation than I do because I know it will be hard - even after going to NYC last summer for 5 nights. I know once he is where he needs to be and all packed and we're on the plane and where we need to be, I will be fine. It's just the anticipation of it. I hope he doesn't think we have left him for good?!

Naked Fun on a Snow Day!
We had another snow day at home today! We had lots of fun. Teague especially loves being nude these days, so I took the liberty of taking some new pictures of him in the nude, which I am sure he will be overly mortified about someday. I did do the politically correct thing and erase his jewels as to not mortify him more someday! I sure love these days at home with him, but I would rather it were 85 degrees, summer and we were outside - but we'll take it for now. This also means that we just have to make this day up during our summer vacay - argh - so that means one less day of swimming. Oh well. I can't believe how big my baby is getting. We spent a little time outside this afternoon just to get some fresh air. He loves to go out to our storage garage to see all his summer toys. He was overly fascinated by Papa's boat in the garage, all our bikes, etc. He was busy walking around naming whose bikes are whose - "Papa's boat, Papa's bike, Nana's bike, Daddy's bike, Mommy's bike, Sky's bike, Taste's (Chase) bike" and then he would start over again. Good times on a snow day!

Slacker.
Yeah, it does seem that most of my posts these days involve the fact that I am really slacking. Partly it seems because we have nothing new to blog about. So here are the boring details of our lives without the animation of a pictoral narration.
Basketball season is winding down. It's been a long season. Ryan's team is about .500, which makes him happy. This is his first season in 7 seasons as head coach that he did not hold the conference championship title - but I guess they can't all be awesome seasons either. Regardless, he has a nice group of kids. Next week playoffs will begin. After that he is still quite involved in bball. And then the start of April brings baseball season. Lucky for me (us) we do get a week together in there to relax in Mexico!
Teague continues to amaze us with his vocab and little personality. He is so much fun to be around. He recovered quite well from his injuries last week (thank goodness). His favorite things are visiting the animals at the farm with Papa, watching Yo Gabba Gabba, playing with his toy animals, reading books, eating, eating, eating, eating, running, talking and just being cute of course.
Me, well I just maintain the household. Big job you know! =) And believe me, when I say the house is maintained, it's at a minimum. I wouldn't want any unexpected visitors!! We have a long week of work this week. Tonight and Thursday we have conferences, so work from 7:30 a - 8:00 p. It's not so bad, it's just lining up babysitters and missing my time with monkey. Oh well, it just means that I will have to make up that time with him over the weekend!!
Well there you go. Our boring life. Thank God for boring. I love boring because that means no illness or worries.
