This year we agreed to have our home one of the five homes that is showcased on the Melrose Holiday Tour of Homes. The proceeds of this fundraiser go to the Ronald McDonald House and Hope Lodge. You can read more about the tour at
http://melroseholidaytour.blogspot.com/. It's a lot of work, but well worth it. The local floral shop came into decorate our house (marketing and advertising tool for them) so I had to take some pictures of their work. Of course pictures can't do it all justice, but hopefully you can get a sense of the Christmas Cheer! I think we estimated that between the two days there were around 350-400 people to tour our home. Wow-zer. Hope you all had a nice weekend.

I heard from a friend at work that you and Ryan were doing the tour. Your house looks great!! Do you get to keep the decorations up until after the Holiday's?
Unfortunately, no we don't get to keep the decorations. When they put centerpieces on my coffee table that cost $99.99 and my son is busy chewing on the berries, I know two things 1) I cannot afford to buy it and 2) Teague would eat it before I could thoroughly enjoy it!
Mollie-
It looks so awesome! Beautiful.

Wow, how beautiful! I loved the garland across the wood as you come down the stairs in the basement!
