It's a good Winter!

Life is good!  We are really busy with various activities, but we can't complain about how awesome the winter has been.  Even if we get hammered from here on out, it's been great.  I am a little disappointed that we can't go ice skating any longer, but maybe it will freeze a little harder yet and we will be able to enjoy it again before spring.

Ryan's been busy coaching, his boys are doing awesome.  He's been in a few alumni tournaments and hosting another one next weekend so his weekends have been pretty consumed with bball.  We did, however, manage an escape to Mpls last weekend for an overnight (which of course still involved bball, but was still so fun) and I did a little shopping - all for the kids!

I've still been taking a little bit of call or my crisis job, but having Fridays off has been awesome.  We have play dates, go out for lunch, and just do fun things together.  Overall I feel so much better about where/what I am doing in my job, so it has been a great change for me (and I would like to think the rest of the family, too)!

Lola's been sleeping a lot better with her animal cage crib tent.  Thank goodness, as we were getting really weary there for a while!  She continues to love puzzle and we continue to be amazed at how well she does puzzles and can remember where all the pieces go even after not seeing them for awhile (like in the nursery at church).  With the personality that Lola has I am also amazed at her patience to turn and figure out where each piece goes and that she doesn't get frustrated (amazing for her)!  She has been singing up a storm and it may just be the sweetest, cutest thing ever in the world.  I got a little bit of it tonight on video while she was in the bath.  You be the judge!  She also has had an ear infection now on the left side (fluid drains because of the tubes so that is why I know) and then this week it was on the right side.  It just so happens that she has her 2 year molars cutting through on those sides at the same time.  She seems to be doing better and not complaining about "eah hut" (ear hurt).  Poor baby monkey.

Teague continues to excel in preschool and loves going as well.  Tomorrow he has his "special day" where he will bring in a show and tell item and talk about it.  He's pretty excited to bring in his trophy and metal from TKD (Tae Kwon Do). I wish I could be there to hear him explain what they are and how he got them! He is still the most loving, considerate little boy - I hope he stays that way.  I love the innocence of being so young and don't look forward to his learning to be embarrassed or shy about things.
Future Idol contestant?!

Here Teague is playing with his cousins in the gym at the RFC.

Coaches vs. Cancer - such a handsome quartet!

A typical day in the life of what the path of destruction left by Lola looks like.

There is a lot of wrestling that happens here.  You'd think I have two boys.

I think he may have pinned her.

T at his first Tae Kwon Do tournament where he took 1st place!  Here the judges are scoring him after he did his 4 way low block!

T accepting and being congratulated on his 1st place trophy - he looks so big!!

Aww, what a cutie!

Here he broke his 1st board!
