The regular season is over for bball and now it is time for playoffs. We ended the season with a nice win over Minnewaska. Ryan is very proud of his boys. He is at a seeding meeting tonight - he thinks we will be #3 (This is Ryan: We actually got the #2 seed). This is the first year in his 5 years as head coach that we didn't get the conference championship. Oh well, I guess you can't have it all, right?! At every game, Jeremy Meyer, a brother of one of the senior players,(who is in 6th grade) sits by us and plays with Teague. He just loves Teague and Teague loves him. Whenever Teague starts to get tired he snuggles his head on Jeremy's shoulder - I think that is what Jeremy really likes! I always tell Jeremy, "wear a sweatshirt with string so Teague has something to chew on" (and I am joking) and so this is a picture of what Teague did the second he sat in Jeremy's lap on Monday:
Teague and I have been very busy running around. Monday night we had the game at Minnewaska, Tuesday we went out for my friend from work, Carol's, birthday. Grandma Ana decided it was time for Teague to start eating dessert. He LOVED the chocolate cake and just kept clenching and unclenching his fists wanting more. I told her if he woke up in the middle of the night with a belly ache I was calling her! Luckily we had no problems. Here he is with the chocolate dessert and G-ma Ana:
We went to Morris on Saturday to visit my parents. My dad's surgery went really well and he said that for the first time in a long time he doesn't have pain in his knee (besides the soreness from the surgery). He was very pleased with the whole process - and we are pleased because now he can't be crabby about his knee hurting, right dad? No excuses! ha ha ha! Here is a picture that Skylar took of Teague and I, and then my mom and Teague:
