We had a really nice weekend. We went to visit G-pa and G-ma on Saturday - along with the rest of the crowd that was there too. We had a good time! After that we went to eat at Fischer's on the lake in Avon. It's such a fun place to eat and every Saturday they have live music. Teague LOVED the music! As you can see from the pictures he was the first to enter AND entertain on the dance floor! Everyone was stopping and smiling and smirking about him on the dance floor! Ryan and I were just laughing. He OBVIOUSLY does not take after his dad's shyness of dancing. Well at least there is part of me in him!

Sunday Ryan had a fantasy football draft (which is an all day affair that involves golfing). Teague and I enjoyed our day at my friend Joyce's lake home! Teague LOVED the water. I think he thought it was interesting that he could walk right into the water, nobody has to lift him in like the pool! He was in heaven. He just ran around in the water and the sand and just played while Joyce and I visited. I would have some great pictures of that, but I lost my camera somewhere between there and our house! It's probably in one of Teague's toy boxes. We are totally in awe of Teague. The other day I just said out the blue as Teague was leaving the room "Mr. Brown can Moo. Can you?" Well this is the name of one of his 25 books he has in a basket in the living room. This one was hiding in the basket and he sorts through all of his books (some on the floor, basket, etc.) and hands it to me!! I couldn't believe it. I thought it must be a coincidence. Nope, quizzed him on a few more and he did it then too! What's weird about it is that I have not once ever read the title of the book to him. He also has mastered some very good mannered signs too: more, please, thank you and all done. What's also weird about that is that I tried signing with him between months 6-8 and it didn't seem like we were going anywhere so I gave up. Out of the blue, yep you guessed it; he starts signing. What a genius I tell you.
Have a good last week in August!
