Oh Lola. She's a total handful. Everyone says "that's because she's a girl" or "she's just like her mom was" or "she's just like how her dad was" (which I know, hard to believe, right?!). She challenges me everyday. And the craziest thing is that I thought Teague challenged me at this age too, ha - yeah right! But I love her crazy baby laugh and her mischievous little smile when she's up to no good. I just really pray that this will pass with some constant persevering discipline at home.
Another example: I put her in a time out last week because she kept opening the door and trying to go outside without permission (ok, not like she could ever go outside alone) regardless, you get it, she can't go outside alone. After her time out I said "Mommy put you in a time out because you can't go outside without mommy or daddy and you didn't listen. What do you say to mommy?" She yells out, "Sorry Teeaague!" Ok so yes a majority of her time outs are for doing something naughty to her brother. And then the next day after getting a time out from Ryan (for who knows why, probably pinching), Ryan says after her time out "Lola you got a time out for (said naughty incident). What do you say to daddy?" She says "Thank you Daddy!" Oh geez. I do try to remind myself that when Teague was around this age there were times after he was at daycare all day that we would come home and it felt like all I did was put him in time outs, so I am hopeful that as long as we are consistent she will grow out of this like Teague.
But honestly, we do really love her like crazy. She is really funny, from her silly faces to her silly dances, she makes us laugh too! So no need to report me, I would never give our precious Goo Goo away! :)
