September = School Days!

Today was the first day back for students and like every year it was totally nuts and chaotic...I think I'll start doing schedule changes in my sleep.

Next week Teague starts preschool. He is SO excited. I've been worried about the kids' transition back to daycare and school as they've become late morning sleepers over the summer (finally I'm being rewarded for being a self proclaimed "sleep nazi" from early, EARLY on in their lives)! This morning they were both eager and ready. I know they will be exhausted by week's end.

Last week we had open house at school. We are lucky to be a K-12 building so we were able to join Teague for part of open house and Nana (along w/ animal - Lola) stayed with him and then took them home. He's gonna just LOVE it!

He even brought his backpack with (and he's showing off his super duper amazing balancing skills that apparently are required in order to start preschool??  And there's Nana in the background!

The weekend before we went back for workshops we took the kids to mini golf and to the DQ. Apparently the mini golf place is closed so we settled for bowling. The kids lasted (no kidding) 20 minutes and we were charged $25! Wow. Then off to the DQ where the kids made us laugh with this video:
