Picture Happy!

Warning: Lots of pictures in this post! Teague's 1/2 year birthday came and went and I had all the best of intentions to get his pictures taken professionally. I was getting them taken every 6 weeks from when he was born since he was changing so much, but I can tell you that it is much harder to get *everything* done when you are a full time mom, counselor, wife, etc.! So last Sunday after his typical 3 hour afternoon nap we took the following pictures (there are tons of other cute ones, but these are our favorites)! I am pretty proud of my amateur photography!







We had a good weekend. On Saturday Grandma and Grandpa came over to watch Teague while Ryan and I went out with the CHS crowd. We had such a good time and one of the couple's who couldn't come due to babysitter issues sent us a round of tequila shots at the restaurant. Well for those of you that know me, I am not a "shot" type of girl. Cripes, I would puke just from a shot of kool-aid because of the thought of it being a "shot"! But I manned up and took the shot and practically ATE my lemon afterwards. Yuck. It was just as bad as I imagined it to be - but nonetheless we had a ton of fun and even got home at a decent time! Here is a picture of our future ball player from the JV bball game from Monday night. Plus a couple of other cute pics. One of which is a picture of Teague chewing on daddy's sweatshirt string. That is one of his favorite things (just like daddy - Ryan CONSTANTLY chews on those things). I think that if we just gave Teague a string he would play and chew on it all day - he seems so facinated by them. Weird.




I am finally (knock on wood) feeling better. I thought Ryan was over the hump, but he still has an annoying cough. Teague is back to coughing and a runny nose. I will be glad when the winter is over and he can get over this cold thing once and for all! He is back to his crap sleep schedule now that he isn't feeling the greatest. Remember what I said about "jinxing" his sleep?! I am so dumb - I should just keep my big, bragging mouth SHUT! So whenever I want to be super annoyed with Teague in the morning he wakes up and smiles and laughs at me, and of course I forget how sleep deprived I am getting (again)! I think he let me "catch up" from the last 6 months and now we are back at it again! Good thing he is so dang cute. Ryan and I being the educators that we are, we grade him on how "good" he is as a baby. Right now he is at a B+ range. When he was sleeping through the night he was a CLEAR A+ (and that's a weighted grade)! So he is still better than average.

Have a good rest of the week. We are off to Morris on Friday night to see Nana and Papa. Then Ryan and I are going to the Morris boys bball game to scout since we play them next week. Saturday I am reffing a swimming meet all day, so Ryan and Teague will be going to water babies together. Other than that, we hope to have a low key weekend!
